Cardiovascular Services
The Cardiovascular Department at AMC provides both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular services to include:
- Echocardiography
- Holter Monitoring
- Cardiac Event Monitoring
- Exercise Stress Testing
- Electrocardiogram Interpretation
- Cardiac Catheterizations (Performed at AMC by Cardiovascular Physicians from UVA)
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Vascular Laboratory
- Healthy Heart Education
Whether you are a patient being treated on an inpatient or outpatient basis you will receive the care of dedicated and experienced nurses and technicians specially trained in cardiac care, working together with respected physicians bringing your care that meets the capability of our scope of services closer to home.
The Cardiovascular Department at AMC is located in the Special Diagnostics Unit on the first floor. Our hours of operation are:
Monday - Friday (Outpatient & Inpatient Care)
6:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday (Inpatient Care Only)
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon
