Medical Library
The Medical Library of Augusta Health Care, Inc. is provided to serve the educational, informational, and research-related needs of the medical and hospital staffs, students, patients and their families.
It is accessible to staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is staffed part-time by a Medical Librarian.
The Library contains a core collection of current biomedical literature, a reference collection of directories, dictionaries, etc., approximately 75 professional journals, and a collection of audio and video tapes.
Literature searches are a service performed by the Librarian upon request through MEDLINE, CINAHL, and the Internet. MEDLINE may be searched from any MEDITECH computer in the hospital or physicians' offices.
