Dialysis Services at Augusta Medical Center
Augusta Medical Center has a dialysis center offering outpatient and inpatient acute services operated by the University of Virginia Health System. The UVA-Augusta Dialysis Facility offers a full spectrum of diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services required for the care of End Stage Renal Disease patients. The facility is integrated into the hospital system with access to acute care: surgery, radiology, laboratory, social services, dietary and other ancillary services. Transplant services are available through the University of Virginia Renal Transplant Center. The UVA-Augusta Dialysis Facility utilizes state of the art equipment and technology including Cobe Century 3 machines.
The UVA-Augusta Dialysis Facility operational hours are offered for patient convenience and in the case of snow or other emergencies every option will be reviewed in order to provide the patients their treatment in a timely fashion.
The outpatient center is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m.- 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. Inpatient services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
