Welcome to AMC Hospice of the Shenandoah

Hospice provides care and support to patients and families dealing with life limiting illnesses. No two people or families are alike - the hopes and needs of each person are precious and important. We invite you to explore our site to learn more about us, who we are and what we do. Our professional staff and community volunteers (your neighbors) are dedicated to providing the highest quality care possible. We will be glad to meet or talk with you about your situation and concerns - just let us know how we can help.

AMC Hospice of the Shenandoah accepts charitable donations and uses the money to meet various patient care needs and provide community education as determined by our independent Advisory Board. Our hospice is also a part of Augusta Medical Center, a not-for-profit medical center serving the cities of Waynesboro and Staunton and the region surrounding Augusta County.

Location

We are located in the Shenandoah Valley between the cities of Waynesboro and Staunton at exit 91 on Interstate 64. We are 30 miles west of Charlottesville, 50 miles south of Winchester and 90 miles north of Roanoke. Our offices are in the Augusta Community Care building which is part of the Augusta Medical Center campus.
