Mission
The mission of AMC's Rehabilitation Program is to provide a progressive and interdisciplinary plan of care for reintegration of the patient into their home and community. The level of reintegration is the best measure of an effective rehabilitation program.

The treatment care team consists of experienced healthcare professionals who specialize in components essential to an interdisciplinary rehabilitation program. This is important in order to treat the "whole person" and provide professional attention to the individual in all areas of life that have been affected by their injury or illness.

What Can You Expect
The Rehabilitation Program at AMC is offered in a state of the art facility. A teamwork approach to rehabilitative care is achieved by the expert knowledge and input from physicians, nurses, therapists and other rehabilitative specialists.
- The Physician directs our rehabilitative team. Our Physicians are rehab specialized with quality medical management experience. You can expect daily visits addressing your medical needs.
- The rehabilitation patient and family members are key to the interdisciplinary team. The physicians, specialists, patient and family work together to focus on the return of skills in all areas of life: physical, emotional, social and recreational.
- The patient will receive at least three hours of therapy per day, five days a week. Therapy includes traditional rehabilitation interventions along with creative and innovative programs with regards to education, community re-entry, home evaluation, aquatic therapy and animal assisted therapy.
- The care does not stop at discharge. AMC offers outpatient rehabilitation services, home health services, access to durable medical equipment and active support groups.
